Commercial Printing

We have a Fuji Xerox ApeosPort-II C7500 and can print standard sizes A5 to A3, weights 80gsm (standard paper) to 280gsm. We can also crop to any custom size below A3.

Our print service sets itself apart in one major way; we have no minimum requirements. If you just need one copy of a piece of sheet music, or if you have a 600-page PDF that you need printed from a disc, you can come to us either way.

Printing can be emailed to us, or brought in on a USB stick or disc ($2 charge applies for use of a USB or disc). We also offer photocopy, scan and email services.

Editing and Proofreading

Always be sure to have someone else read your document; whether you hire a professional editor or ask an eagle-eyed friend to proofread, fresh eyes will pick up mistakes that you may not see. It's even more important to have someone else proofread when you've gone over your work numerous times: you will read what you expect to see and likely miss things that fresh eyes will notice.

Your document can be beautifully formatted and impeccably laid out; but if there are errors, it will lose its impact immediately. Proofreading and editing are your secret weapons; not only will we help you with sentence construction to help clarify your messages, but your finished document will be flawless in terms of spelling and grammar.

Editing and Proofreading - what's the difference?

Editing is the process of reading through a work in the development stages and looking at structure, meaning, shape and form, as well as spelling, grammar and punctuation. The editor often works with the writer to help the writer make sense of their work. The editor may suggest that whole passages or sections be deleted, or bring ideas for additional material, or suggest illustrations or layout concepts, depending on the type of document being created. Editing can take many months of painstaking work, depending on the project at hand.

Proofreading is that last final check before anyone hits the 'print' button. It is usually about checking for the standard spelling, punctuation and grammar errors, but also looks at things as tiny as page numbering, paragraph numbering, that heading sizes match, as well as fonts and colours etc. Proofreading can often seem expensive because the proofreader must read every word at least once, so it is time consuming. However, the list of issues picked up by a proofreader will nearly always convince you that it was money well spent!

Web Design

Our websites are completely custom-made for your business or project, and we're proud to offer some of the best-value web packages in the Blue Mountains and western Sydney.

How do we keep it so affordable? First, we don't use Flash or Java, only HTML, CSS and some PHP. In other words, your site won't have amazing animations (unless you wish to supply them!), but it will be clean and professional and it will get the message across.

Second, where most web designers charge by the hour, for website setup we operate on a flat-rate system. You'll know exactly how much your website will cost before we begin it, and you can add or remove components to get a price you're happy with. We call it Pick n' Mix pricing. You choose your site components from a list, we build your site, and there are no sudden price changes to worry about.

Third, we get you to do a little of the work. If you supply all the text and images, then we don't have to write for you. However, we are happy to wordsmith or proofread your site for you at a current hourly rates. The choice is yours!

Layout Design

If you need simple flyers, posters, business cards or other items designed, we can offer a complete design and print solution.

For example, one client was attempting to construct some charts for a course she was running. She had all the information, but didn't have the time or computer experience to manage the design. We were able to design the charts, print and laminate them and get the complete product to her in time for her next course.

In the past we have designed and printed:

If what you need is not on the list above, please feel free to contact us and discuss your print and design needs.
