About MoshPit Publishing
Getting Started
MoshPit Publishing operates from the offices of Mosher's Business Support, in Hazelbrook. If you're a local, feel free to drop in and have a chat to us about your publishing options, or use the Contact page to send us an email.
Our computers use Windows, so if you created your project on a Mac or on specialised software, please convert it to PDF, any Microsoft program, or an OpenOffice format to minimise technical difficulties.
We're happy to help with as little or as much of the process as you need!
About Us
MoshPit Publishing is a division of Mosher's Business Support.
We recognised that there were two forms of publishers operating:
- conventional publishers who take on your book, and all the associated risks
- 'vanity' or self-publishing companies, who provide an economical printing service to those who have developed their own publication.
The issue we discovered was that there was no 'middle ground'.
If you couldn't get your idea accepted by a literary agent or conventional publisher, then you were left with self-publishing.
If you wanted to self-publish, you were faced with a print-on-demand service, but you still might need personal attention in the form of editorial and layout assistance, graphic design, or just someone to hold your hand through the process.
MoshPit Publishing bridges that gap. We're happy to help you with as little or as much as you need to get your publishing project up and running.
